Measure first. Laugh later.
Pet sizing is not standard across suppliers, so do not choose only by breed or your pet’s usual size.
- Chest: measure around the widest part of the ribcage, just behind the front legs.
- Neck: measure around the base of the neck where a collar naturally sits.
- Back: measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail.
Use a soft tape, keep it comfortably snug and leave room for movement. If your pet falls between sizes, choose the larger size unless the product page says otherwise.
Exact supplier measurements vary by product. Check the product description and size images before ordering. If measurements are missing, email info@booandbiscuit.uk with the product name and your pet’s chest, neck and back measurements.
Never leave a pet unattended in a costume. Remove the item if it restricts breathing, movement, vision or causes distress.
